At Sk8decks, we’re more than just a skateboard company—we're a big, lively family of artists, athletes, and enthusiastic beginners. We believe that the best skateboards are built with premium materials and designed with authentic vision. Our unique approach? Every graphic and hand-finished touch comes directly from the imaginations of our own crew of young riders.

The Sk8decks Story:

Designed by Kids, Built by Family

Our journey began with a simple idea from our 10-year-old for a school project: a biography book report that included designing his own skateboard graphics. That spark quickly ignited a family passion.

We are a crew of nine—two parents, seven kids (ages 4 to 12), and two dedicated grandparents—all rolling through life and business together.

  • The Creatives: Our kids have taken the reins, learning how to sand, stain, paint, hydro dip, and finish wood like pros. Every board is a labor of love and a family effort.
  • The Support Crew: The adults (Mom & Gigi) keep the business end rolling smoothly, setting rules like "no sander for the 5-year-olds". Grandad (Nali) is our chief researcher, lead tester, and ensures we only sell quality boards that are fun to ride.

Every deck graphic tells a story, and behind every story is an amazing kid.

Colt (Age 4)

Colt, the "Twin of Thunder," is a speed demon who channels his fast energy into art, creating designs with big blocks of red and blue that are absolutely buried in paint.

Cheyenne (Age 4)

Cheyenne, the "Twin of Color," is the strategic visionary who designs truly unique pieces, often involving a "kitten in a space suit," and always has the final, colorful say on glittery designs.

Piper (Age 7)

Our Creative Commander loves drawing freehand majestic paint cats and fierce dragons in orange, pink, and purple.

Ruby (Age 9)

Our Quiet Creative is a book-reading nature enthusiast who specializes in soothing, simple hand-drawn graphics and favors an earth-tone palette of sage green, terracotta, and dusty rose.

Reni (Age 10)

The dedicated Dipping Dynamo, Reni specializes in the mesmerizing magic of hydro dipping, favoring teal, pink, and gold for her elaborate designs.

Kasen (Age 11)

The Original Visionary who started it all! Kasen is the brain behind the awesome hydro-dip boards and still vastly prefers the feel of hand-created art over any computer print.

Anastasia (12)

Our wise and athletic talent, Anastasia often prefers the classic, clean look of stained wood, but also creates beautiful effects using soap-resistant painting.

Official Inspectors

Meet Dash and Violet, our Lead Inspectors (and rescued kittens!). They supervise every stage of our operation, from performing paw-on inspections of freshly stained boards to testing packaging materials for nap suitability. Though they refuse to ride a board, every deck gets the official Paw of Approval before it ships.

We may be learning through "trial and error... lots of error," but we are passionate about fun, quality, and supporting youth creativity.
